Peppered Sausage Waffles with Pecan Pie Syrup

Makes 4 large waffles

Great holiday menu addition.

Ingredients
1 quart prepared waffle batter
2 ounces (1/2 cup) crumbled cooked sausage
1/2 teaspoon black restaurant pepper
Pecan Pie Syrup
Directions

Stir sausage and black pepper into waffle batter.  Cook according to normal procedures.

Top with whipped butter and serve with Pecan Pie Syrup.
