Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a shallow 1-1/2 quart casserole dish cooking spray.
Combine corn syrup, butter, almond liqueur, lemon peel, salt and nutmeg in a small bowl.
Cut potatoes into 1-inch thick slices; arrange in prepared casserole dish. Pour corn syrup mixture over potatoes.
Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, basting potatoes with corn syrup mixture every 10 minutes.
